“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”

“What's included vs. what's extra?”

We’ve had to call them again and again to get them to send the death certificate to his doctor to be signed, had to call for updates because they don’t call us. When his cremains were available, they didn’t even contact us. We called and asked and they told us they were ready to be picked up. They didn’t give us all of the paperwork we needed either. Overall, it has been headache after headache with them, adding even more stress to an already difficult time.”
