“Our family selected Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home because we had heard good things about a trusted business. We met with the funeral home, made our cremation choice for our mother, paid for the expected services and waited...no obituary was posted ($350 obituary fee was paid), had to contact the hospital and the funeral home 3 times to even get the death certificate made, death certificate came and the information that was previously requested & provided was not on the death certificate. The name of our mothers parents were listed as "unknown", even listing "unknown" is a disgusting representation of the lack of caring and lack of attention to detail. I had emailed about my disappointment with the lack of attention to detail and was told I would receive a refund for the obituary that was not even posted in the paper and I am still waiting for the $350, after follow up calls and emails. I did receive new death certificates after I complained about the "unknown" entry that was listed. At a time when you need to put your trust into a business and expect professionalism in return, this business was subpar in multiple different aspects.”
