“I have to say that at only 53 I was not prepared to have to organize a celebration of life for my husband who was only 51 when he passed. This was not part of the plan - we were going to beat the cancer and grow old together like we had planned. However, I guess God had other plans. I am so thankful I chose Schoedinger- Dublin. I wanted my husband's celebration of life to be just that - a celebration. I wanted my guests to feel comfortable, to mingle and to tell stories about my husband, to laugh, cry and just celebrate his life. Roger at Schoedinger helped me create the perfect setting for this. The new Dublin location is gorgeous, does not have the vibe of a funeral home at all! It is very welcoming and I loved how much natural light there was. Roger helped me think of every detail and guided me each step of the way. The staff and their compassion and attention to detail is like none other. They created a beautiful video which was later turned into a keepsake book - something I will treasure for the rest of my life. I received many compliments on the service for my husband, people later telling me that they had never really been to something like that before. As stated before - I wanted to celebrate his life, so we had food and beverages (much like a cocktail party) where people could relax in comfy chairs and sofa's as they chatted with people from all walks of our life together over the past 20 years. I trusted my husband and his service with Schoedinger and they knocked it out of the park. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I felt very taken care of during the most difficult and vulnerable time in my life.”
