“My father passed away November 4, 2024 late in the evening, immediately after being given the news, I was told I had 2 hours to have his body removed. With his body in Florida and I in Massachusetts, it being late at night and I not being prepared with any arrangements or even knowing of any funeral homes in the area, I called Samuel's funeral home. Ms. Stephanie answered, I did not know her and had never spoken to her before, yet she was kind and caring. Without any pressure for payment or making any fast decisions Samuel's funeral promptly picked up the remains of my dad and would keep them there as long as I needed, they gave me all the time I needed to make decisions about arrangements. My father was a combat World War II veteran, and the next day Stephanie secured him a plot and burial at the VA National Cemetery in S. Florida and a military funeral with full honors. I am indebted to her for helping me do this for my father. He would have loved it and been very proud. One week later, when my mother also passed unexpectedly November 12, 2024, again in the middle of the night and just over one day before my father's service, they again promptly collected her remains, and had her body ready in one day so that my parents could be buried together. They gave my father a brand new suit to wear and my mother a dress. They laid them in beautiful matching caskets. The limos arrived promptly for the service at the exact location at the cemetery. Al from Samuel's smoothly handled all aspects of the service. By doing the job right covering these tasks, they made the process less difficult. They helped me through a process I could not ever be prepared for. They left nothing out, left no detail behind and made the process seamless. They helped the day go smoothly so that I could properly honor my parents, and properly grieve my two losses. During my time of grief I am comforted thinking back to the services and care provided by Samuel's.”
