“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”

“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.

When we were able to pick up the ashes we were supposed to meet Jeanette at the office at 4:30 the day before the service and she was over an hour late. I do not recommend this place unless you have WEEKS to wait for them and don’t mind hearing an excuse every time you call for an update”

“It was hard looking for a funeral home to help my family with services at all for my brother. We found this place and the prices were more fitting with what we were able to afford and the accommodations were great for what the price package was for. Compared to other prices around the area, they had the best deal. Working with Dustin, one of the funeral directors, was a great experience. He was sensitive to our needs and let us know that we could take breaks at any time we needed. He answered all of our questions and was respectful and upfront about pricing and arrangements. I called him and emailed him often for questions and his replies were very prompt. We were unsure of a floral spray for our brother and at last minute Dustin arranged their florist to create something beautiful within our budget. Overall, it was a smooth transaction and he was so generous to let us come a little earlier to set up for the viewing. He even let us stay a little after our time frame to say our last goodbyes. They are thoughtful and printed out the obituary and made the background a chess board. That showed me they paid attention to what we wrote about our brother and that made it special. We were in touch every step of the way during the cremation process, for when they would do it and when his ashes and keepsake items would be ready for pickup. When we went to the pickup, Elizabeth, the other director, helped us look over the items. She was very nice and helpful. That goes a long way, especially during such a hard process! I highly recommend this place for your loved one who has passed or for future planning. I know I will use their services again, if I ever need to or for myself.”
