“I am extremely disappointed with our experience at this funeral home. Our family was explicitly told that the service would be live streamed for those who could not attend due to severe weather. Unfortunately, that promise was not kept. My great grandmother’s only sibling and several other close family members were unable to attend because of the weather and were relying on the live stream to be able to say goodbye — and it never happened. To make matters worse, my family was not allowed to take any photos or videos themselves and were told to put their phones away, leaving our family with no way to share or preserve the service for those who couldn’t be there. The explanation given was “weather,” yet the funeral home was able to successfully live stream another funeral. This inconsistency is upsetting and deeply hurtful during an already painful time. Our family is very unhappy with the lack of compassion, communication, and follow-through shown when we needed it most.”
