“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”

“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.

“Kenneth was great to work with and they absolutely do not price gouge you. It’s refreshing that there are still businesses that don’t inflate everything so they can make a profit. James is the star of the show though. He is an absolutely phenomenal florist. For the negatives, I didn’t realize this was a budget funeral home until after my mom was transferred here from the hospital, no big deal. It’s hit and miss if you get greeted when you walk in. I know they have cameras where they can see the foyer so someone will show up eventually but yeah it might take a few minutes. Their phone etiquette is pretty cut and dry but I’m not sure how one can make that an easier phone call. I’m sure they get dozens of calls about deaths a day so I can see where it becomes more automated instead of personal. The place has everything you need for a nice ceremony but it looks so old and dated. It definitely has a weird smell when you walk in. I had no issues with my ceremony except, as a previous reviewer stated, my mom did not look like herself because she was slouched down with her chin in her chest. The makeup they applied wasn’t over the top or terrible; my mom didn’t wear makeup so that was nice. I definitely feel like they could have positioned her head better. Overall, definitely affordable and has everything you need for a service but it’s not gonna look the best.”
