Mt Carmel Cemetery

“Was impressed when my wife and I went to go visit our loved one. We saw a young lady carrying her bucket with flowers. And in her bucket she had made flower bouquets. Already prepared and as she was walking to go see her loved one and as she walked she put the flowers on the empty headstones that had no flowers. My wife and I watched her for a while. Saw her fixing. the flowers that were blown off the vases and scattered around and arranged them to look nice. We stopped her and asked if she worked there.She said no was their to visit. We were wondering who put flowers on our family members head stone. It was a beautiful arrangement. She recognized it and said she made it. It was a cross made with flowers. Then my wife asked her why she was getting flowers from the ones being thrown away. She explained ,while she visits she will make arrangements bouquets . At least 25. So when she walks out of cemetery the ones that don't have visitors or flowers she will go and put flowers on headstone. "Everyone needs flowers. And after we die sometimes we are forgotten " she explained to us. She recently lost someone and it's therapy for her. She explained she doesn't take them from sites only from the trash. Some are still brand new. She isn't hurting anyone she said she is creating new things and giving back. And helping make the cemetery looking colorful coming in the entrance. As of it was"recycling". Very artistic with the flowers. Cemetery should consider hiring her for fixing up the sites for making them look nice. Very heartfelt seeing how she uses her own time to make boqute of flowers for the ones who receive no visitors. Cematarys should hire her as the interior decorator. Thought it was a Beautiful Thing. Very nice to see a act of kindness. We appreciated her placing flowers for our loved on. Beautiful young lady. Greatly appreciated. Love she is making the cemetery looking beautiful.”

“This cemetery is very badly taken care of . There is peer dirt and no grass and we pay a lot . They used to take care of the place much better back then . I know it’s too late to regret where I have layed my family to rest. I wish The church owners should take much better care of this place. Even if we complain to the office they don’t pay attention to no one they dont care .”

“My bother' cross was removes even though it followed guidelines. His name is also removed. They keep take away the flowers I put in his grave and is the second cross the remove. How can we find our love ones if they keep taking away names and crosses. Do they do it to force us to buy their grave stones? Some people just don't have the money for that!!!”
