Questions to Ask When You Call
You're not expected to know this. These questions help you compare and avoid surprises.
“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

What Families Say
“Thank you for the helpful staff who helped me to find where my grandfather is buried. Even with the paper map, it was tricky to find it, but worth the walk to the back. The grounds are clean and well kept, and there are spaces to bring family and visit your deceased loved ones. Very beautiful cemetery grounds, a well as plenty of free street parking.”
— Rem Henshaw
“Holy Cross Cemetery offers a serene and beautifully maintained final resting place. It's a peaceful sanctuary, and the availability of family plots provides a comforting option for loved ones to remain together. A truly dignified and well-cared-for cemetery.”
— William Furby
“Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum has a very difficult mission. Having a blessed restful place for the departed and comforting those who remain in faith. It is not possible to express the thanks I feel for Carlos, Will and the Holy Cross Cemetery for sensitive, reverent manner in which they assisted me through a difficult process. I am so thankful.”
— Pete Pascal
