“What can I say about Harrison's Funeral Home. Their motto is....."There's no comparison to Harrison" when I tell you that this is so true, I mean it with all my heart. So, my father in law passed away in November 2025 unexpected. We weren't prepared and since my husband and I are not from Memphis we didn't know what funeral home to go with. Well, someone recommended Harrison and we took the chance and met with them. My first impression was great. The inside building was very nice. This was around Christmas so it was decorated really nice. It gave you a 'family home' feeling instead of a funeral home. Someone met us at the door and escorted us into a sitting room while Jerry (owner) finished up with another family. When they were done with the other family, Jerry himself came and welcomed us and gave us his condolences. I was impressed with that because normally an owner would send their secretary to bring you back to their office. So, when it came to the arrangements of my father in law's funeral my husband and I didn't know where to begin because we were still in shock but when I tell you that Jerry and his team are so professional, thorough and compassionate I really mean it. They guided through the whole entire process and thought of things that we didn't. They even have a minister and musician on staff that we used for my father in laws funeral and they were great. I gave Jerry's staff the important details of my father in law and they created a masterful obituary and all the family members loved it. Although the funeral was small and intimate, Jerry and his staff showed great professionalism and care with our family. By the time everything was over my husband and I felt like we've known Jerry all of our lives. I'm not on social media and I only write reviews when service is done above and beyond and I can truly say There's no comparison to Harrison!!!”
