“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
The FTC Funeral Rule protects you. Every funeral home must provide an itemized General Price List if you ask — in person or over the phone. You are never required to buy a package and can choose services individually. You also have the right to use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“Dear Toni, Mischelle, Jade, Debra, Yvette, Darla, and the entire compassionate crew, When we stepped through the doors of Funeraria del Angel Victor Valley & Victor Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary, we were met with more than just professionalism. Toni and Mischelle, though working in different departments, stood side-by-side, their patience and understanding creating the perfect service forour loved one. Together, we crafted a memorial that felt as though it had been lovingly handcrafted for my dear mother-in-law. In those emotional moments, we found solace in their caring hands. And when circumstances dictated otherwise, Jade stepped in seamlessly, ensuring that every question was answered, every concern addressed. Debra, the attendant, seemed to be everywhere—her gentle touch caring for our departed loved ones, her meticulous attention evident in the presentation. She lovingly transported our cherished family member to their final resting place, a journey marked by reverence and grace. In the quiet background, Yvette and Darla worked tirelessly, pulling together those last-minute details—the ones that matter most when saying goodbye. Their dedication ensured that every aspect of the memorial was covered, leaving us with space for reflection. As we shared memories and gathered information, it became more than a mere service; it transformed into a beautiful tribute—a celebration of a life well-lived. The overwhelming weight of loss was lightened by the staff at Funeraria del Angel Victor Valley & Victor Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary. They didn’t merely perform their duties; they became companions on our family’s poignant journey. My mother-in-law, serene and cared for, looked beautiful in her final repose—a testament to the love woven into every detail. To each person who touched our hearts during this difficult time, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your kindness, empathy, and unwavering support made all the difference. Thank you for honoring our loved one with such tenderness. With heartfelt appreciation, Rodney A. Kent & Daniel C. Cameron”

“I am torn about this review. First and foremost the service was beautiful for my grandfather. Yvette was kind, patient and made me feel comfortable. The grounds are pretty and well manicured. Michelle and Yvette added a personalized touch handing out lovely roses to our family during the service. Having said that, the company itself really needs to support hard working employees better. The laying to rest part is where they really dropped the ball. Grandpa passed in August of 2023 and I was at Victor Valley Mortuary the day after his passing to initial his service. We are now heading into December 2023, and still my grandfather ashes has yet to be laid to rest. The entire process has been complicated due to back end signatures needed and well I'm still not really sure. I am at a loss of words and still hopeful that one day I may be able to go to my grandfathers burial site and visit him. We are still in morning and when we finally receive our keepsakes then we can begin to move on in our grief. I would like to bring my grandmother and father the special items with grandpas words of hope to them in the near future. Victor Valley Mortuary has so much potential however by not investing in your staff, and clearly NOT providing much needed internal support hurt our process. Perhaps precuring more employees would help. Having a better system in play would have made a world of difference for us. Thank You, J Cahill”

“Michelle is very rude and made this the worst experience for my grandma‘s passing. The service was on Thursday, we were told that she would be buried the next day, my mom went up there four days after the service and she wasn’t buried. There was over $1000 of flowers that were to be placed on top of my grandma‘s gravesite after the burial and Michelle couldn’t tell me where they were. Were they thrown away? It’s bad enough that they try to charge my mom thousands of dollars more while planning the service after my grandma had taken care of most of it. I feel they would’ve charged my mom that money if she didn’t say anything about it. I called Michelle and asked her some questions on this, she was rude and couldn’t answer any of my questions. I do not recommend this business if you want a peaceful resting for your family members”
