“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
The FTC Funeral Rule protects you. Every funeral home must provide an itemized General Price List if you ask — in person or over the phone. You are never required to buy a package and can choose services individually. You also have the right to use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“Rowe Funeral Home, and especially Brennen Dodd, went above and beyond during an incredibly difficult time. Brennen handled every detail with compassion, professionalism, and care—seamlessly arranging transportation for my mother, accommodating our religious needs, and coordinating thoughtfully with the rabbi, who personally reached out to ensure everything was properly honored. What could have been an overwhelming day of grief became one where we felt supported, guided, and at ease. Brennen took care of everything, allowing our family the space to grieve without added stress. His kindness and attention to detail made an immeasurable difference, and we are deeply grateful.”

“Sadly my brother passed away in New Jersey in December 2025. We lived in the UK. From the first moment I spoke to Brennen I knew that I had found the place that I was going to use to honour my brother's life. Brennen was a very calm and reassuring presence especially when I was in a different continent. Brennen always found a solution and was very efficient, courteous and clear in all communications. He gave us a lot of his time and nothing was too much trouble. We used the chapel in the funeral home which was a lovely setting and were able to lay out the room the day before. Brennen was present throughout the ceremony and it was a very special goodbye. I cannot recommend Rowe Funeral Home highly enough. thank you”

“My brother in law passed away in New Jersey and we live in the UK. We were recommended to approach Rowe Funeral Home. from the moment we spoke to Brennen it was clear that we had been well advised. Brennen took care of all the arrangements for us, handling routines and procedures that would have been very difficult from another country. Not only that but he also made it possible for us to manage all the personal touches we wanted for the remembrance services. A difficult time was made very manageable and the end result was perfect. Thank you Brennen and Rowe Funeral Home”
