“Like father, like son. Michael and Callie’s flexibility and accommodation was paramount. Our every request was honored including rearranging the chairs in the viewing room, a reduced viewing time followed by a celebration of life, and slipping on my dad’s favorite bracelet my wife created for him while visiting us in the Canary Islands. It’s the little things in life worth cherishing. The common theme became “we’re here for you”. Exactly the support we needed and wanted as we dived deeper into the familiarity and acceptance of my father and best friend departing us. The day came to gather with family and close friends. A dream team of what I call “acceptance supporters” joined the experience. Michael Meadows, Callie B., Jennie G., Wanda B., and Guy H. created a smooth and effortless experience enabling myself and family to grieve in our independent ways. The above named caring and compassionate human beings contributed to the healing journey that unfolded at Roberts of Ocala West Chapel. Their attention to detail, professionalism, kindness, patience, and empathy positively impacted the reality I now live in. Thank you Michael and a wonderful team for being real with us and creating space for us to navigate such a confusing and heartbreaking life chapter.”

“I had a very caring experience with Roberts Funeral Home. Director Gil was compassionate and helpful. He took time for me to talk about my sister and gave me advice on things I wasn’t sure about. Callie was very helpful to get the certificates to me quickly and helped me with anything else I needed. This difficult and sad time was made a little easier because of this caring staff.”

We visited the West Chapel and the funeral Director asked what we wanted to have for our sister-in-law. He provided us with everything that we needed, we also wanted to have something personable he allowed us to do what we wanted to make everything that reflected our sister in law's personality. Everyone that went to the service at the funeral home said they never been to such a beautiful service, the staff was our support system. People kept asking if they were family members. Their attention to detail and their compassion, commitment, respect and honor to everyone including my sister-in-law was admirable. They communicated through the process and even after all was finished they continue to assist us as we were exiting the location.
