“August 10 2024 Gutterman’s Funeral Home 175 N Long Beach Rd Rockville Center NY I am writing to express my disappointment with the lack service provided by your monument department regarding the stone for my late sister Audrey. In June of 23. I contacted your department about ordering the stoneI when the draft came I sent it back as my Rabbi said her Hebrew was In correct. The order went through based on the corrections in March I was advised that stone will be read for an May unveiling only to be advised by Vincent that stone came in wrong and another draft was sent which was sent to my Rabbi who had to reject it as it was wrong The other day I got a new draft which was correct finally. Vincent told me it’s another 3 or 4 months which is unacceptable Despite my repeated attempts to address this issue through mention any communication methods used, such as phone calls, emails, in-person visits]m, I have not received satisfactory assistance or resolution. The lack of mention specific service-related issue: responsiveness, action, communication, etc. is both frustrating and disappointing. As a concerned person I expected a higher standard of service and accountability from Guttermans I urge your department to take immediate action to rectify this situation by suggest what you believe is a reasonable and appropriate solution II hope that we can resolve this matter promptly and to my satisfaction. “Very clean place but I felt like the rabbi who did the service for my families funeral rushed it! Rabbi wanted us out if there as quickly as possible. He spoke so fast as if he just didn’t want our family to mourn our lives one. My sibling n I told the rabbi, before everyone arrived, all what we wanted him to say about our family member. Especially what organization to donate to! Rabbi didn’t tell our family n friends what charities to donate to! 75% of what my sibling n I told the rabbi he didn’t mention!! I was very disappointed n hurt”
