You're not expected to know this. These questions help you compare and avoid surprises.
“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
The FTC Funeral Rule protects you. Every funeral home must provide an itemized General Price List if you ask — in person or over the phone. You are never required to buy a package and can choose services individually. You also have the right to use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“I don't identify myself with any religion; but I believe in God and studied multiple religions. I'm also highly aware of what I take in as factual and question everything. So this review is if you're someone like me. I been to a couple churches and some can give me "red flags". But this church has not. This is a great church to hear and study the word of God and Jesus Christ. If you want to learn with an open heart without feeling pressure, this church can be good. I always learned a lot being there on Mondays. I haven't been to the new building but id love to visit. I one time walked in unannounced at a random time and came across a Priest who prayed for me. If for whatever reason you want to go to a church, a place of mass worship/praying, I'd start here. I learned a lot just by studying at the things they have placed on the wall. Thank you so much to this church.”

“I had come to weekday Masses occasionally in the "warehouse." It was always a pleasant experience. The last couple of weeks, because of my schedule I've been blessed to attend daily Mass at the new Church. It is so beautiful and the people who attend seem very special and holy. I can't believe the number of people who attend, at least 200! The pastor does a fine job of truly making it bilingual. He seems to be a very kind soul. His English is very good. I had assumed most were Spanish speakers but it's not so. There seems to be a mix. I've been very impressed.”

“Beautiful new church and community. They even have the live stream for their dedication mass which was January 1, 2026 on YouTube”
