“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”

“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.

“Ordered flowers Friday morning through the funeral home site. I received a call Sunday before noon saying they could not find a florist to delivery to the funeral home before the visitation today and wanted to deliver to the family home Monday. I declined and asked them to cancel my order and provide refund. They agreed to do that but then I had to scramble to place another florist before the service. I guess I should have done that in the first place.”
