“A real review from 2022! I saw a negative review and was shocked. Then, I saw the date was over 2 years ago. This funeral home is under NEW ownership by Eric Ross. I am writing for a NEW review of Karpus-Hunter AND Ross Funeral Home. Having recently lost my grandfather in Spring of 2022, I have nothing but great things to say about Eric. He was professional, kind, and patient. He was available and responsive to our every need. I can't speak for the previous reviews, but what I can say is the new ownership is passionate about making an impact in the community and invoking a real change. Consider this funeral home in your time of need and don't let a negative Google Review from the old ownership impact your decision-making. After speaking with Eric, it is evident he cares deeply about families and the community in Alpena.
