“Roberts-Martinez funeral home impressed us from the very beginning. What stood out first was their transparency — their pricing was clearly listed on their website, which helped us make an informed decision during a very difficult time. My father had been on at-home hospice for nearly four months and passed away early one morning. The team who came to our home at 2:00 a.m. was professionally dressed in suits, not casual clothing, which meant more to us than words can express. They treated him with dignity and gave us time to say our final goodbyes before respectfully transferring him. It never felt like a routine task — it felt like they truly cared. Hector, our Funeral Director, was exceptional. Although new to the company, his professionalism, compassion, and genuine care were evident in every interaction. He went above and beyond, even accommodating my brother late at night after a delayed flight so he could still have his moment to say goodbye and assist with the memorial setup. The service itself and the transport to the National Cemetery were handled with professionalism and respect, allowing our family the opportunity to say our final goodbyes. The package included 100 memorial programs, and when we realized we needed more, they were able to accommodate our request and allowed us to purchase additional copies. There were a couple of minor areas for improvement — 1. the location of memorial sign-in book placement caused some guests to miss signing in, and the 100 memorial inserts included in our package were not provided on the day of the funeral. However, they were ready for pickup the very next day along with our remaining flower arrangements. 2. Speaker system needs update... Was a bit muffled and hard to hear the person speaking. 3. Piano area could use an extra microphone hooked up to system... Pianist sang without one. Overall, I highly recommend this funeral home, and hope they will take areas of improvement to heart to better service future families. They treated our father — and our entire family — with dignity, compassion, and professionalism. We are especially grateful to Hector and team for his care and support during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. Because of their care, my father was honored in a way that reflected the respect, love, and dignity he deserved, and our family will always be thankful for that.”
