“Bill is a man, deeply enthralled with his life's work. The museum is really a hearse museum, with plenty of historical artifacts dedicated to the history of the postmortem stages of life, as it existed in years past. Bill is proud of what he has collected, as he should be. This museum is available to visit, at no charge, with reservations made in advance. It will take an hour to get through (hour and a half if you have an active group that comes up with great questions about activities that are usually kept hush hush). He asks for donations at the end, as he should. This isn't his primary job. This is a look into a family business that has existed through generations.”

“This was a very unique museum. Alot of interesting items in it. The horse-drawn carriages were amazing. The vehicles in there were in top A-1 pristine conditions. Some he uses to this day. Bill was very knowledgeable about all the items in there. To hear him talk and tell u about them was the most interesting information you'll hear about earlier funerals. He answered every question we asked, I mean every question. Call in advance to make an appointment to visit. Bring cash for donation. The tour is free. He has a very small souvenir section. Bring cash for those too.”

“We spotted this Museum on Google Maps a while back and I added it to my one to visit list. Since we were in the area and only about 40 minutes away after hitting the Mothman Museum we decided to swing up and join the tour group. Mr people's is a very nice person and a fountain of knowledge about the morticians industry and history. You will need to call ahead and schedule a tour and he will give you a walking guided tour. Side note you need to be on your best behavior because Barney Fife is guarding this place Mr peoples is cousins with Don Knotts. The displays, artifacts, and restored hearses are all amazing. If you are into the Macabre check out the human hair jewelry made by widows and families of deceased individuals. He was also very informative and willing to answer questions for my daughter because she's looking into becoming a mortician. The museum and tour is also free there's a donation box for anything you feel you should toss into it. So worth the time for the visit and the information gathered. This is one of those places that you just have to see for yourself because pictures just don't do it complete Justice”
