“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
The FTC Funeral Rule protects you. Every funeral home must provide an itemized General Price List if you ask — in person or over the phone. You are never required to buy a package and can choose services individually. You also have the right to use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“Hadley Davis did a wonderful job laying my aunt to rest. They walked us through step by step during such a difficult time. I appreciate the professionalism and care we received and definitely recommend them.”

“The Hadley Davis funeral home ensured that every aspect of my father's service was handled with the utmost respect and professionalism. The staff assisted in creating a beautiful and dignified service that truly honored my father's memory. Every element, including the book for signatures, the beautifully designed pamphlets and fans, and the reliable van service for transportation, was thoughtfully executed. The staff's compassionate approach helped alleviate some of the stress and allowed my family and I, especially my mother, to focus on celebrating my father's life. I am deeply appreciative of the people at Hadley Davis Funeral Home for their exceptional service and support. They helped us navigate a very difficult time with grace and kindness, and for that, we are profoundly grateful. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of funeral services, as they truly go above and beyond to provide a respectful and heartfelt farewell.”

“If you want to be treated like garbage during your family’s passing come here . All the customer ladies are terrible .The customer service here is awful. I had a relative previously speak to the cremator and he was kind the only reason I gave them a single stars. The customer service ladies were so rude because they were confused on the situation and instead of asking the cremator (Kenneth). One lady in her late 40s or 50s told me "we don't have nothing to do with that. Y'all need to solve that issue with yourselves that has nothing to do with us". It wasn't until Kenneth came out that he told them that he previously spoke to us about the situation of purchasing our own urn. Awful that they think it's okay to talk to people going through a passing this way. Not a single one acknowledged me after I came in a second time to ask for Kenneth again I would hope that the owners seek to change how customer service is given in the future. I would not recommend anyone going through a passing to come here unless you want to feel worse.”
