“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.

“SAG funeral home buried my 21 year old son 7 years ago. There were 2 funerals that day and my son got the second best service. There other funeral the owner knew and she ad been paying for her funeral before she died. He was in a veiwing room that connected to another room so people we didn’t know were just waking through 😳…. All their trafic cars where at the other funeral so my friends n family stopped trafic at lights n made sure his procession was good… When we got to the grave yard the pall bearers got him out of the hurst ntook him to his grave had the casket above the hole when the so called director started yelling NO NO that’s the wrong grave so the pall bearers ad to pick up the casket with my son in it and take it to the other grave down the hill !!!!! They almost put him in the grave for the other lady they were burying!!!!!!! No apology no refund for the stress and the only thoughts I have is SAG NEARLY PUT MY BOY IN THE WRONG GRAVE!”

My father’s paperwork was not handle correctly . very combative and difficult in such trying times after losing someone you would think they have more compassion. Zero stars if I could find a way ! I would never recommend this to anybody grieving.”
