“I guess they did a good job on the cremation? I mean how would anyone even know if they did? They seemed nice. But, in copy/paste, the obituary that I had typed out and proofed got emailed to Jen with no space between the paragraphs. I asked Jen if she could simply add the space between the paragraphs. Instead, she took it upon herself to RETYPE THE ENTIRE OBITUARY. After she retyped it (unnecessary and unwanted), there were many edits to be made. It still isn't correct, and I'm extremely upset that she chose to re-type it. My original obituary was grammatically perfect and everything was spelled perfectly with perfect punctuation and it was all perfect. That was my job for a big part of my life was an editor and proofreader and I have many years of experience in editing and proofreading and I'm a perfectionist on especially something SO IMPORTANT. Her retyped obituary was more stress than it was relief. And believe it or not, when she was done with her retyping, some paragraphs had two spaces between them and some had three. She just didn't do a good job at all. And you have to think about how much money you pay to do a good job. It's still stress to me every time I look at it and my dad passed away over a year ago. It still has errors! Why would you retype anything? Why would you do that???”
