“Richard and Larissa handled my mom’s funeral and did a fabulous job. Not only did they coordinate the calling hours at their funeral home in Lorain, but handled all the arrangements for the funeral in Rocky River, and even the burial at the cemetery in New York where they transported her. I will say that again! They transported my mom in their own vehicle to New York so she could be buried next to her parents! My mom looked beautiful after suffering for many years, and I could sense the compassion and kindness of Richard and Larissa simply by seeing my mom laying there peacefully. They went above and beyond my expectations. It saddens me to read negative reviews because I know how much they care about the families that come to their funeral home at a time when people are most vulnerable. Emotions run high, but the they do a great job shouldering some of that burden. I would highly recommend using the Richard J Reidy Funeral home.”

“This is not about the money, this is about the lack of professionalism. The services began at 1 and by 1:30 we were all rushed to say our final good byes and to head into our cars to proceed to the cemetary. It was then that we were informed that there would not be a funeral procession. There was no ulogy given, no pictures, no flowers, nothing. Our loved one deserved so much more than what was provided. So there were no little cards with a prayer on the back of it to take as a keepsake, no book to sign, nothing. This was the absolute worst service I have ever seen. I don't recommend using him for anything. This man lacks compassion, patience and sensitivity and professionalism toward the family. Horrible service. Do not use him. Go to someone who actually cares about your loved one and the family. He definitely is not it. This man could not even read the prayers at the cemetary. Sad. Just sad. The worst funeral director in Lorain, Ohio.”
