“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”

“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.

“They were TERRIBLE. When my father passed recently. If I could give negative stars I would. We have used Pafford for all of my loved ones my entire life, but this time about 2 months ago they have really went down the drain. They have no compassion, professionalism, and definitely don’t trust their word! They promised us that a hand print as well as thumb print would be made for my father for multiple days and even the day of the service they assured us they got it. They did not. The only thing my daughter would have had left of her papaw and the only thing I would have had left of my dad. They also had the room so hot that all of the live flowers died!!! The worst part of it all is that thy assured us the service would be added for all of his children and grandchildren. Not to mention, the looked TERRIBLE because whoever done his makeup got it everywhere on his face and it was black. I am HIGHLY disappointed. We will be going to Reeds or Stanfill from now on. Stanfill treated us amazing for my husband’s family.”
