From the moment I spoke with her on the phone, she was attentive, knowledgeable and showed me the warmth and kindness I so desperately needed after speaking with about 5 other homes. She listened to my situation in its entirety and assured me that we would receive the services we were looking for and she delivered. We were worried about moving from one funeral home to another and right away she took that worry away and gave me realistic and clear advice that actually worked out in our favor and I am happy to say it was completely resolved almost immediately thanks to Dorothy’s direction. In our time of grief Dorothy was pleasant and respectful and actually made us laugh during our meeting. I started out this week full of questions and headed down unfamiliar paths, but after hearing of Harden and calling them with my needs, I am now looking forward to this next week and the final arrangements where ultimately we will bring our passed loved one home with us where they can rest peacefully surrounded by the love we were sure to give them in life. “I cannot express enough gratitude for the care, compassion, and patience shown to us during one of the hardest moments of my life. This was my first time ever having to go through something like this, and I truly did not know where to start or what the process even looked like after losing my baby at 11 weeks. From the very beginning, Dorothy was incredibly kind, gentle, and reassuring. She took the time to explain everything, never rushed me, and treated my baby with so much dignity and respect. They took care of baby Duncan’s preservation and provided the most beautiful urn for him. What touched my heart even more was receiving a package in the mail afterward a soft blanket embroidered with his name and a sweet memorial mat with animals, his name, and the dates he was born and passed. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that meant more to me than words can say. “I'm late on reviewing, but this place and the people in it will always hold a special place in my heart. In May, I lost my baby unexpectedly at 21 weeks gestation. They were highly recommended, and from the first phone call, they were nothing but helpful and immensely compassionate. They answered every question we had and took so much care with us and my baby. All the women there are so amazing. Dorothy and Danielle went above and beyond communicating with me and my family to be sure things were exactly as we wanted. They were so loving and kind to me and my family. I knew my baby was in good hands, and they made me feel like a part of their family. Every person there was so gentle and loving. The ceremony was so beautiful, and even though it hurt to cremate my baby, I felt better knowing these lovely human beings were treating my baby with so much love and care.
