Questions to Ask When You Call
You're not expected to know this. These questions help you compare and avoid surprises.
“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

What Families Say
“Our experience with both of my parents was incredible. They worked with Ted to preplan all of the details and also pre-pay for everything that was needed, even the celebration party. Not only did we not have to worry about paying for the funeral, lots of the decisions were already made by my parents. After their deaths, we worked closely with Sarah and she helped us make the remaining decisions. She was a great resource during a difficult time. She carefully and kindly guided us through the process and clearly explained everything. I am thankful that my parents selected Mihovk-Rosenacker for their funeral planning.”
— Colleen Bush
“Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral home gave me and my family comfort during these very sorrowful uncertain days. Rudy, our funeral director was very kind, understanding, sensitive and responsive to all our needs. He coordinated all activities from the time of my wife's passing to the cremation and services. There was nothing unanswered, which is a tribute to the Mihowk -Rosenacker funeral services. After the church service had ended and the celebration reception, Rudy and others followed up several weeks later to help my grieving. I wish to thank Rudy and the Funeral Home team for outstanding service during this time of need. Ken”
