“I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FUNERAL HOME TO ANYONE! It is long overdue that I speak of my experience with Max Beckmann and his services slash temperament . A little over two years ago my late father, David, committed suicide & unfortunately we didn't find his body immediately. Fast forward to when my brother and I went to the funeral home to go over everything. Mr. Beckmann decided it to be appropriate to make a 'joke' that went something like this, "we don't usually burn this many candles, but because of the smell (of your dads body), we had no choice, haha." He literally laughed out loud. As if losing a parent to suicide wasn't hard enough; to then make it worse, the man who is responsible for maintaining a professional attitude and gentle approach to the families dealing with their loss decided to make light of our situation merely days after my fathers passing. On top of all of this, he rushed us out because "..here shortly I have a party that I'm hosting.." So this message is for Max Beckmann on behalf of my brother and myself : HOW DARE YOU! You should be ashamed of yourself. You are a miserable excuse for a man. To speak ill of the dead the way that you did, in front of his children no less. You're a disgusting human being and hope no one ever has to go through what my brother and I did with this man and his business.”
