“From the moment I contacted this funeral home (Columbia location) to arrange my Mother’s graveside services and received a call back from Mrs. Rose Ogilvie McClain , the process was smooth and streamlined. She was very respectful, kind and empathic. She listened to me as I explained my Mother’s wishes and patiently answered my questions . Communication between us was excellent throughout . My calls and/ or texts were returned in a timely manner. When I met she and her sister to finalize the arrangements ,they worked within my budget and respected my Mother’s request to keep it simple. No judgement. No pressure to upgrade. No hidden charges. They were very comforting and took the burden off me as I do not live in the area. They were on top of things from beginning to end. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The other staff members were very nice and polite (took the time to introduce themselves to me and later to my family). My Mother’s service went very well. I really appreciated Mrs. Rose support before ,during and after the service. I also received a follow up call days after the service to see how I was doing with the offer of continued support. “First, I want to give honor to God for allowing me and my family to make it through my auntie’s memorial service yesterday. Over the years, my family has had to lay nine of our uncles and aunties to rest through traditional burials.
