“I must start with Mr. Jim Zalewski, Manager at Funeral Choices in Old Town. He was very easy to talk to from the start. I had no idea what the steps were in planning for my mother's upcoming death but he was very thorough giving me a good outline of what to do in the future, and when to do it when my mother died. As she neared 100 this year, I didn't know whether to plan a big birthday or learn the steps for her cremation, in case she died this year. I feel grateful I moved her closer to me in Old Town, Virginia so I could see her every day instead of the longer 3 hour RT commute to Baltimore. Unfortunately, my dear mom had a massive heart attack the end of June, and she died on July 14th, 2025. Jim was there for me every step of the way. He helped me pick out an urn, order death certificates, and many other things. I don't know what I would have done without him. If I could give Funeral Choices and Jim Zalewski 100 🌟 stars, I would.
