“My parents bought here years ago. When dad passed in 2022 the person we dealt with was cold and distant. When mom passed in 2025, the same person handled the details. Again, there was no care or compassion! We just assumed that she was the only one who handled these situations. The marker that had been placed in 2022 was covered in mud with no grass growing around it (three years)! Twice I visited the office to enquirer about the death scroll and was told it could take a month. The second visit, it had been three months. The third visit, upon entering the office, we were greeted by Carie. What a difference in representatives!!! She was caring, compassionate and for the first time we felt like we mattered and that our concerns were important. The very next day she sent a picture showing where the marker had been cleaned up and grass seed added. She stayed behind the problem with the death date scroll and finally in August (7 mos) it was in place. After mom’s service I was ready to leave a very negative review due to how we had been treated to hopefully prevent others who are grieving from having to deal with the same. However, after the experience with Carie and knowing that if she is the one to help families in need that they will be taken care of in the way that they should, I have changed my opinion. She will get you the best deals and set up payment arrangements that work for you. I asked her to have our spot flagged so we would know where it was exactly and she was more than happy to have maintenance taken care of this. She was wonderful with my daddy and patient and showed passion and confidence in helping him after my mom passed. You can call anytime or email and she responds quickly. AND the maintenance staff is wonderful. We have been needing a granite stone to place a marker on in another cemetery for a 3 month old baby that had marker. When my dad asked about a piece of stone that cannot be reused they assisted him and now we have been able to provide a stone and marker for the baby. The family did not financially have the means to do this. Baby left this world 7 years ago and now has a proper marker. Thank you to Ms. Debbie and the entire staff at Iredell memorial Park.
