“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
The FTC Funeral Rule protects you. Every funeral home must provide an itemized General Price List if you ask — in person or over the phone. You are never required to buy a package and can choose services individually. You also have the right to use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“Crowell Brothers treated use like family, we felt from the very first meeting, I felt my love was in very good hands. They took the best care to include my family and treated use with love and caring Everyone from the couple who can at midnight to transport our love one to Crowell Brothers to my coordinator are the very best. Like family, my coordinator has stayed in touch with me. Like Family. I would recommend Crowell Brothers a 100 times over, Like Family”

“My mother recently passed after travel from Philadelphia to my home in Georgia. Needless to say, it was a horrible experience and I needed a local funeral home to receive, care for and prepare my mother and transport her back to Philadelphia for her home going service. Crowell Brothers Funeral Home is in my neighborhood, they were prompt, very professional and most of all sympathetic to our situation. They worked diligently with me to get my mother’s out of town doctor to get her death certificate, within a few days, and coordinated with the funeral home in Philadelphia to ensure safe delivery of my mother! There’s more I could say about the personal care and compassion experienced throughout the process, they really made what was a difficult scenario less stressful and for that I thank them for their professionalism and kindness! A special thanks to Amy Joy and Jessica for their compassion and diligence. Dereck Purnell”

“City of Norcross offers self guided tour at Norcross Welcome Center. This spring, I came across a new tour pamphlet "Norcross Cemetery Walking Tour" It was difficult to actually pin point where the cemetery is. There's many cemetery within the city of Norcross. My Google map guided me to a 45 minute walk towards "Crowell Brothers Cemetery" The area is familiar. From the city of Norcross towards Peachtree neighboring streets pass my previous employer of one year NAPA is "Crowell Brothers Cemetery". It was a good bit of a walk. The spring chill weather made it great. I wasn't quite sure if it was the right cemetery but this cemetery I always pass whenever I'm running errands around the Norcross area. The cemetery itself is beautiful.Theres a Coliseum, a crematory, barn, right above the hilly pathway. Adjacent to Crowell Brother is another burial site within the area of a Baptist church. Beautiful monuments, statues, and headstones commemorating the history of locals that used to live here. Full of history. A great historic site.”
