Tonya and her husband Scott made the process as painless and straightforward as possible, worked within my budget to offer a proper celebration of life for my father, and moved quickly behind the scenes to alleviate my heartache and let me focus on grieving. Like all things in life, finances were a concern and Deans was by far the most affordable option. Cost aside, they were kind, compassionate, and gentle at a time when it was needed most. The brunch we asked to have offered to mourners was wonderfully prepared and laid out with staff to help serve, ample room was provided to allow conversations and grieving, and any accommodations requested were quickly met with grace. Any leftover food was packaged and set aside to be delivered to those in need within the community, a final lovely gesture that my father would have loved. “Losing our mother was one of the hardest experiences my sisters and I have ever faced. The day after she passed away at the hospital in Atlanta, we found the courage to call Dean Funeral Home in Sebring, Ohio, because our mom’s final wish was to be buried alongside her mother in Alliance, Ohio.
