“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”

I traveled some hours to attend a service and while I was on time there weren't any programs left. One of the male attendants offered me a card with a QR code to have one digitally. When I let him know that I was from out of town and served the family with their loved ones last days he said he would do his best to find one. I was happy with the digital. After the beautiful celebration of life I was walking out to my car and the attendant came and found me to give me a program. This is what service should look like. The little things. After doing some research I saw that they even have their own choir, which I belive was used to minister to the families and friends. This choir had a healing and comforting anointing on them! This was NOT a funeral but a TRUE celebration of life!!! Top tier service for a top tier man! Thank you for all that you and your team do! I pray you will continue to fulfill a tough area of ministry and God will bless each one of the staff associated!”

“Our family will NEVER use Good Samaritan Funeral Home again. They are so unorganized. From issues with the program, to communicating what is needed, and what will be provided. They called us 1 hour before graveside services to inform us if we wanted police escort it would be 300.00 more dollars. GOD enabled FAMILY, to call and arrange free escort, and they tried to tell us we couldn't do that. WE DID. Having us waiting, watching while they sweep out the hearse before they could put the casket in it😲. Grabbing a relative by the wrist when they were discussing the stress they was causing the family. Had to be informed to let go of the family member wrist🤔Later, offered soda to family members, then told them, they did not have any😏.So many other issues, We advise you, DO NOT USE GOOD SAMARITAN FUNERAL HOME, unless you want to add more stress while trying to bury your love one.”

“HUGE shout out to Mr. Carl. That man did a phenomenal job taking care of us the day of the funeral. He is 100% professional and informed. Great job, Carl! Also, the choir was absolute fire. Wonderful job to that talented crew! Otherwise, GS took pretty good care of us. People-wise they were kind and empathetic. The communication could have been better as we'd never planned a funeral before and had a ton of confusion around the order of things. The funeral program template was a paper and should really be digital to stream line the process. The monitor in the chapel is very small which took away from the slideshow. The window panels in the chapel had duct tape, yikes. The building needs to be renovated like, yesterday.”
