Questions to Ask When You Call
You're not expected to know this. These questions help you compare and avoid surprises.
“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

What Families Say
“My husband passed away on February 12th. After 49 years of marriage, they are very compassionate people and professional with their service. They made everything comforting for me and my family and couldn't do enough to help us make difficult decisions. I've been going to auclairs for over 60 years with deaths in my family. I definitely wanted to go back there because I knew how they treated the family with respect and compassion. I can't put into words the thanks and peace I feel and my husband looked so natural, better than he has in over 5 years of his illness. Amen 💔🙏”
— Gayle Raposa
“We had my grandmothers wake with Auclairs they did a wonderful and beautiful job they were very understanding and thoughtful! I appreciate everything they have done for my family and I. I more then recommend Auclairs for future services.”
— Abbie Banville
“Auclairs is the only funeral home we go to for our loved ones who have passed on. They are professional and compassionate. If I could, I would rate them higher than 5 stars.”
