“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
The FTC Funeral Rule protects you. Every funeral home must provide an itemized General Price List if you ask — in person or over the phone. You are never required to buy a package and can choose services individually. You also have the right to use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“It's a fairly short hike that's easy to moderate depending on the conditions. The waterfall is best following a rain, but the rain makes the trail slick and muddy. There are areas where you have to traverse rock. The area is also used for hunting, so be sure to take the trail marked with ribbon. There are usually other hikers on the trail as it is a popular location. Parking can be challenging, so I recommend going early. Don't forget to order your hiking permit.”

“This trail is not an official hiking trail. We missed the parking lot on the first time by because its just a big dirt lot on the side of the road. Be prepared to balance on rocks to cross a stream multiple times and you're shoes will get muddy. It is worth it to see the waterfall in the end. While its not an official trail, there are orange and pink markers tied to the trees to help guide you. However the trail does fork multiple times and you can find markers both ways. My husband and I seem to have found the more difficult climb up. When heading up to the waterfall, if you're spending the majority of the time on the left of the stream, you're on the more difficult side. On our way down, we stuck to the opposite side, and it was so much easier, flatter, and quicker. I'd recommend wearing bug spray. My husband didn't get bit but i got multiple bug bites. Also be sure to bring your own water.”

“Beautiful hike and waterfall, but to be honest the trail is rough to walk on with the huge rocks to avoid. They have done some work but it needs more, since you do have to pay to hike there.”
