“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
The FTC Funeral Rule protects you. Every funeral home must provide an itemized General Price List if you ask — in person or over the phone. You are never required to buy a package and can choose services individually. You also have the right to use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“On behalf of Maurice Paquette and myself, I would like to thank Garrett Casey Sr. for the professionalism and compassion he gave us during the arrangements for Patti. Our family has had O'Neill's do final arrangements for several family members for many years. This was my first experience on a close and personal level regarding the arrangements. Garrett possesses patience and addresses all your concerns. He goes above and beyond for those grieving their loved ones.”

“The care that our family and our loved one received during such a difficult time was much more than we expected. Aside from being an excellent funeral director, Garrett has a pastoral heart. He brought us through this hard time with the utmost patience , guidance, and care. We are very thankful and grateful to all the Casey family. Also, when unpacking the bag from the home, the organization of tbe flower arrangement pictures , the portrait, and beautiful memory book just affirmed the expertise of service this company provides.”

“My sister Jessica Muskus went missing 15 years ago and when the state police determined the remains found off of exit 40 Rt.8 north were hers we were in complete unmeasurable pain and yet so blessed to finally be able to find her and properly put her to rest after being missing for over 2 years. Garrett Casey was the man who although couldn’t get her remains initially due to an ongoing investigation prepared and put on the most amazing memorial service at O’Neill’s Funeral Home for her. It was so beautifully done with such empathy considering her body actually wasn’t there. He helped us honor and remember her even though we didn’t have her yet. Even through such tragedy we knew she was there in spirit!!! Garrett was the one who helped us cope and get through the earthly side of things. He was the one who brought her cremated remains home to our family once they were released and we are all forever grateful!! Since then he has gone on to take care of my cousin Robert Dube Jr. and my sister in law Melissa Edmond at Casey Eastside Memorial both young and unexpected passings. He went the extra mile in each of those services down to making sure my sister in law had hoop earrings in her ears. ( that meant so much to us, the attention to detail was outstanding) Rest assured this family has the utmost respect and professionalism you will ever find to take care of your loved one during your time of grief and sorrow!! Thank you Casey Family for all your support during our most difficult time!!”
