Questions to Ask When You Call
You're not expected to know this. These questions help you compare and avoid surprises.
“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

What Families Say
“Very kind and friendly people. They were very helpful with the cremation process for my daughter. A compassionate funeral home for anybody 💗🪽 Definitely recommend and give thanks to Anne the funeral director for everything.”

“I want to publicly thank Emily and John Robert’s funeral home for everything. They were absolutely amazing and on we’re on top of absolutely everything during an extremely difficult time for me and my family. Actually I have to thank every employee I worked with because they all went above and beyond through the whole process, to the very end. Again thank you.”
— Tracy Ward
“Losing a loved one can be incredibly tragic. It's very difficult to think clearly through the process of planning a funeral. Anne was so helpful to us during this time. She met with us when we arrived unannounced, accommodated our needs throughout and handled everything with tact and professionalism. Robert and Jack were kind and professional as well. We never had any problems and everyone did everything they could for us. I think it takes very special people to be in this business and I'm sure it's very difficult for them, physically, mentally, emotionally, but they do it on a daily basis and witness all the grief and the loss. I know I couldn't do this type of work and I really admire people like Anne, Robert, and Jack, that do this and do it with compassion and sympathy. If you're considering using their services, please give them a call. I know they will do their best for you as they did for us.”
