“Was sold a prepaid cremation insurance policy for my father. Made arrangements for his cremation following his death. Was “accidentally” charged the full amount of the services on my 81 yo mother’s credit card when only the cost of a newspaper obituary was due. Still trying to get a refund but was told it won’t be released until the center receives the proceeds of the insurance which they sold to us and are the named beneficiary of. Pretty sure this is illegal. Taking advantage of a family in their time of grief. Shameful”
