“I am writing on behalf of 6 Star Florist and Gifts Corina, Bay Area. Today we left a large arrangement at Resurection Greek Ortodox Church in Castro valley. One of the gentleman there, named John approached me right after he saw me coming and asked if he can help me with the flowers. I did not received in a while as a florist such a beautiful customer service. Inside the church the other gentleman- Steave was helping out the best way and make room for our large arrangement we created. Very easy drop and i’m impressed with the service. Thank you for all you do for people who suffer a big loss right now. Sincere condolences to the entire family.”

“If I could give zero stars, I would. This mortuary is unprofessional, disrespectful, and shady in how they handle grieving families. The mortuary smelled like an old folks home, its small, and it is was extremely hot! They made arrangements by only working with one next of kin while leaving the mother out of important decisions regarding her own child. They moved forward with moving the body without both signatures, even after confirming that nothing would be done without the mother’s consent. This is not only unethical—it may very well be illegal. The mother and her side of the family were treated as if they didn’t matter, ignored, and disrespected during one of the most painful times in their lives. Rosa (Harry’s wife) pretended to be understanding, even saying “Latinos should stand up for each other,” but her actions proved otherwise. They misled the family. They didn’t keep their word about not taking action without the mothers consents. I am not sure what our family did to be treated that way. They should be ashamed of themselves and embarrassed for their actions. They worked with one side of the family, made the lies about dates to make sure the dates the father wanted worked for him & his vacation. Harry also called the cemetery & fed them info about the dates. The cemetery told us the soonest dates available, but quickly changed their statement to accommodate the info Harry told them. If you are a family with separated parents, do not trust this mortuary. They will show no sympathy, no compassion, and no professionalism. They care more about control than about doing right by the grieving family. This place is rude, unprofessional, dishonest, and possibly breaking the law. For the sake of your loved one and your family’s peace of mind, look elsewhere.”

“Harry and his team are amazing. Our situation was a little tricky due to international travel as well as a lot of last minute changes. This team was responsive, honest, and everything was streamlined for us to focus on our main goal of laying our family member to rest. Our unfortunate and stressful situation was turned into a situation where we felt so incredibly grateful to have Alameda Funeral & Cremation Services helping us. There is literally no replacing Harry and his team. They genuinely want to help and they deliver on this! We called 6 total services in the area to get quotes and try to understand the process. Harry was the ONLY one that didn't try to charge or "up sell" every little piece of service. He was also the ONLY one that gave us advice and let us know exactly what will happen moving forward. He took his time explaining potential issues with travel and what will happen from day 1 through completion. He did ALL this BEFORE having any sort of agreement from us to use his service.
