“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
The FTC Funeral Rule protects you. Every funeral home must provide an itemized General Price List if you ask — in person or over the phone. You are never required to buy a package and can choose services individually. You also have the right to use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“The homeless people you are speaking on are REAL people. They are BURIED here! Have some respect. The dead have more mercy than the living. It’s over 100 EVERY DAY. The cemetery provides a cooling index. The sprinklers provide water as they pass by. The grounds are kept clean. These people are suffering right along side death. Have some respect for both the living and dead.”

“This cemetery is beautiful! I sometimes go at night and pray the holy rosary 📿 for the living and the deceased. It's a peaceful place.”
— Tony Valenzuela
“We had a funeral service here for my grandfather. At first, it seemed it was going to be a beautiful experience since they had set up lawn chairs and a canopy next to where the burial was taking place. It started to sprinkle rain drops which really set the mood. However the lady that was running the show said we had to hurry since it was a little rainy and had her employees lower my grandfather into his grave and cut our service short, it was maybe 10 minutes total before they started to pack things up. I thought it was very rude of the staff to rush such an event. To top things off, they spelled my grandfather's name wrong on his headstone. Luckily they ended up fixing it, but it was a hassle to make things right.”
