“The review posted by Mrs. Clark is totally false. It is my belief it was written in retaliation because she had to be removed from my husband's viewing at Burns' Chapel by the Florence police. She totally disrespected my deceased husband, me, our family, friends at the viewing, and the Burns' wonderful staff. The entire Burns staff was completely awesome to deal with during this difficult time. I cannot find a single fault with their service or entire staff. The cruel and personal attack on the staff by Mrs. Clark is absolutely unwarranted. It was my husband they picked up, and it was in my home. I was treated with respect, kindness, and dignity. The staff was professional and dressed in good taste. To personally attack any of their clothing or appearance reflects the absurd remarks posted falsely by Mrs. Clark. I have the highest regard for Burns's Riverside Chapel and totally appreciate all of their services. They are the best.”

“The below comments of Ms. Clark are absurd. The Burns Funeral Home treated my father with honor and respect. Our family was tragically and intrusively disrespected by Ms. Clark and due to her mentally unstable and disrespect-able behavior she had to be removed from the service by the police. Alan was so gracious to try to maintain the dignity of my fathers service while having to assist with the tragic interruption of Ms. Clark making a scene. He provided safety to my step mom and close family as we all tried to reason with this unreasonable woman to leave. Authorities finally were able to assist her removal and yet she still later left things on our cars. She has come to homes she's not welcome to, and has been desperate enough to ask my fathers close friends for large amounts of money. I do not wish anyone to ever have such misery through such a trying and sensitive time, yet I was thankful to have had the support from Alan (owner) through this experience. My father made his own arrangements and he to the best of his ability honored his every wish. Thank you Alan and I'm sorry for what Ms. Clark has done to disrespect your business and my family.”

“When dealing with my husbands tragic death the Burns family went above and beyond the call of a funeral home. They showed true concern for myself and my young daughter and were patient and kind during every step of the process. I dealt with Alan mostly but also Karen and their daughter a few times- they were both amazing and kind and just showed empathy for my situation, making me feel they understood and I could be more ease in the process.”
