“Our family entrusted this funeral home during one of the most painful times in our lives. The funeral was held on February 16th, and the obituary was never posted online. On February 18th, we spoke directly with the director and were told it would be uploaded shortly. We were informed there was a delay due to it being translated into Spanish. We understood and expected it to be handled promptly. It is now February 25th. The obituary has still not been posted, and we have already picked up our loved one’s remains. At this point, this is no longer a minor delay — it is a failure to follow through on a basic and meaningful part of the service. An obituary is not just a formality. It is a matter of dignity and respect, and it allows family and friends the opportunity to honor and remember someone properly. We are extremely disappointed by the lack of action and communication during such a sensitive time.”
