“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
The FTC Funeral Rule protects you. Every funeral home must provide an itemized General Price List if you ask — in person or over the phone. You are never required to buy a package and can choose services individually. You also have the right to use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“If we could give this facility 10 stars, we would! My daughter that lives in Pryor had a beautiful white male cat (had one blue eye, one green eye) that we called Aries. She adopted him in December 2019 when he was a kitten. She treats her fur babies as one of her children. Not too long ago, Aries become ill. They took him to a vet. Sadly he was in end stage liver failure. They tried. But it wasn’t meant to be :( They had decided to put him to sleep when the vet opened Monday. But that did not happen. He passed away in Mom’s arms early morning hours last Saturday, looking up at her when crossing the rainbow bridge. At my advice, I made a call to Angels in Tulsa. She got us right in. The warmth, the compassion, and caring was felt as soon as we entered the front door. I knew we made the right decision. Due to the care received, my daughter is coping much better. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone! Jamie Chase Lillian Oliver”

“Losing my dog was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through, and when I first spoke with Angel, the owner, she was incredibly sweet, compassionate, and understanding. Her kindness meant a lot during such a painful time, and it gave me comfort knowing my dog was in caring hands. However, when I came to pick up my dog’s ashes, the experience was very different. The woman who helped me simply asked my dog’s name, had me sign a couple of papers, put the ashes in a bag, said “have a great day,” and turned around. There was no acknowledgment of the loss or the moment. I understand that people handle their jobs differently, but when someone is coming to collect the ashes of a beloved pet, they are usually in a very fragile place emotionally. The interaction felt very cold and transactional, and it honestly left me in tears. In that moment, I just wanted to feel like my dog mattered and that she had been cared for and respected the way I loved her. I truly appreciate Angel’s kindness and compassion, but I hope the staff who interact with grieving pet owners can show the same level of empathy. Those small moments mean so much when someone is saying their final goodbye to a member of their family.”

“My dog Bane, recently passed. Angel was so easy to work with & made the process simple. I needed his ashes shipped since we were in the middle of a move & it came in the next day all the way to Virginia. The box that was engraved is so beautiful. Thank you guys for all that you do. 🖤”
