“I had the pleasure of growing up in the wonderful town of Oneonta. I went to St. Mary’s school and the OHS with Michael Grummons. Mr Grummons has know my family for pretty much all of my life. I never paid much attention to the fact that Mr. Grumman’s owned the funeral home until it came time to bury both of my parents. Then I saw first hand when In 1991, I lost my Mom to a horrible cancer then 5 years ago, I lost my Dad from MS. Each one of my parents service’s were very different and exactly what they wanted. My Mom was surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of people and her life was celebrated beautifully. My Dad, on the other hand, wanted a very private no fuss service and he fulfilled his every wish.
