Questions to Ask When You Call
You're not expected to know this. These questions help you compare and avoid surprises.
“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

What Families Say
“I write this review under my late husband's name; I wish to express my gratitude to Sierra, Tony, Sadie & the rest of the staff of Croxford Funeral home afte the sudden & unexpected passing of my husband, in the early hours of Sunday, November 2, 2025. Cliff & I were over-the-road Truck drivers together, we brought a load up for deliveries in Montana, one being in Great Falls for Monday. We staged ourselves at the Town pump on the southeast side of I-15 by the air base. After my call to 911, & the valiant efforts of the sheriff's dept & EMTs, time & time of trying to bring Cliff back, it wouldn't happen. I, not being local, didn't know how Montana dealt with things & the sheriff's dept. really weren't allowed to tell me who was the best, per police policy, but, the officers gave me 3 names of funeral homes, I asked specific questions. Made a choice, to which one to call & please pick up my husband. Sierra & Doug came and spoke with me, they carefully picked up my husband, tucked him in, placed him into the vehicle & departed. I called in the afternoon & asked if he was 'situated' & I know Cliff was being taken care of. I made the Monday delivery & Great Falls, waited for a coworker to take our trailer, so I could remain & take care of my husband's final preparations. I met with Sierra & she helped me through the paperwork & such, They understood & followed what Cliff would've wanted. I was able to view Cliff, in a beautiful setting, he looked good, & like a deep sleep. I was there for quite a few minutes to say my final goodbye to him. The following day, Cliff Glass was cremated, as was his wishes. I went to 'get' my husband the next day. All of this took nearly a week. The wonderful people at Croxford worked patiently with me as I made arrangements to juggle Cliff & my final load from work, to the preparation at the end of his life. The dignity & respect given to him. The compassion shown to me. A heartfelt Thank you, to Sierra, Tony, Sadie, Doug & everyone there. Y'all made the procedures of dealing with Cliff's death, for lack of a better word, bearable. Thank you for taking care of 'us.' Ever Thankful, Katrina Glass T & C Trucking”

“I would like to thank Drew and his entire staff, with special thanks to Chris, Julie, and Holly. The passing of our daughter will sting forever, but Drew, Chris, Julie & Holly went above and beyond to ensure that we were able to grieve her loss yet still celebrate her life in a manner that she would have loved. From the first phone call to the last, Drew was in constant contact and communicated everything very well, all while making sure we were ok and taking care of ourselves. I cannot express enough the comfort my wife and I felt throughout this process and how appreciative we are to Drew and his staff. Drew is truly invested in every part of the process and is able to navigate you through a lot of tough decisions with grace and empathy. Drew's commitment & dedication to his clients reflect great credit upon himself and the entire staff at Croxford. Drew & Crew...From our family, with all we can muster in our hearts....Thank you!”
