“These people are con artists. They sell funeral insurance then try to charge you more saying you didn't have the right kind of insurance. The day after he death they demanded an additional $1000 When we approached them with the paperwork and demand a refund and that they honor their insurance they tried to blame it on a former employee. My mother passed away in January. She had been paying them for over 10 years. Not one person from the funeral home showed up to the funeral. I had to be the funeral director for my own mother's funeral. The only thing they did was put the obituary in the newspaper. Phyllis Stout was born on August 14, 1954 and passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016.Phyllis was a resident of Temple, Texas at the time of her passing.A Memorial Service will be held at 10AM on Saturday January 16 at Connection Point Assembly of God 722 W. Main St Troy. Killeen Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Killeen Memorial Funeral Home did nothing for our family except try to defraud us. They are Con Artists preying on hurting people. 5 Months later they still have not put her nameplate on the niche. We were charged an extra $109 for the nameplate. If you have other options for a final resting place I would definitely look elsewhere. These people don't care about you or your loved one. They won't even return phone calls.”
