“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
The FTC Funeral Rule protects you. Every funeral home must provide an itemized General Price List if you ask — in person or over the phone. You are never required to buy a package and can choose services individually. You also have the right to use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“My family and I have used this funeral home on three different occasions and on all the occasions the staff have been amazing and gone above and beyond. The most recent service was September 2025 and Daniel was our funeral counselor. Daniel was extremely attentive, showed empathy, very detailed, had great communication skills and showed compassion. They day of the service everything ran smoothly even the supervisor Steve was extremely involved. I will continue to recommend this funeral home at every chance I get. Thank you Daniel and Steve my family and I truly appreciate you guys and your place of business!”

“I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I honestly wasn't expecting much. I was blown away by how kind, professional and organized they are. My dad passed away in San Antonio , Texas and my family wanted to have his funeral out here. Monica was amazing and on top of everything. The process took a little longer because he had to be flown out on an airplane and only certain airplanes do that. Monica went over and beyond to keep me informed every step of the way. She was constantly reaching out to me to let me know when he got to the airport, was flown out, and when they picked him up. She was amazing. Extremely professional and organized. Like I said I was not expecting much but everyone I dealt with there was kind and professional. The prices are great too. I have already mentioned this place to friends and family. I am very satisfied with how they handled everything. The only problem I encountered was our fault. They said we could use the place til 1pm because the next family would be coming in at 2pm. We ended the service at 1pm but my family didn't want to leave so I kinda told them we have to. Short story if they tell you another family is coming in at 2 then you might want to end at 12. But that was my fault not the mortuaries. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this place and the service they provided. I definitely recommend it.”

“The service was awful I asked the lady that works there if she can put more hot water for coffee she said no because your service hours is done in 45 minutes. Seriously people weren't allowed to have hot water for coffee for the last 45 min of the service . Rest rooms were so small . Parking is not enough I had to walk blocks to be able to park . Only reason I give two stars is because it was clean and reception was decent size.”
