I wished they would respond to emails and voicemails, as it’s hard to be the persistent one during grief. Other than that, I felt a $150 flat rate to send ashes via USPS was a clear margin grab….I get that everyone has to make money but that seemed a bit blatant and excessive to me. However, I had to comply as I don’t live in Texas. Other than that, it was fine. Not stellar, not terrible. I personally dislike being interrupted and talked over constantly, and I realize it’s a communication style, often culturally embedded, I found it irritating and unhelpful, but that’s just me.”
