“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
The FTC Funeral Rule protects you. Every funeral home must provide an itemized General Price List if you ask — in person or over the phone. You are never required to buy a package and can choose services individually. You also have the right to use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“The star is given because it's the only way to make a review. Having to deal with my brother mark's death was traumatizing nonetheless. But what's even more crazy is when you have to deal with prior who don't have proper paperwork for power attorney executive State to do things with but wants to run behind the lies of a family member. He was at Ohio State since August. They just did his body a week ago and not only do they cremating but they're still very much so large pieces of Bones in his box. For someone who say this is my pride company. Very very poor company. Very very disrespectful office staff and to think where you work at. These are my opinions and my opinions alone. But I wish people would do their research before picking funeral homes or being coerced to be used because you own a newer funeral home isn't Worthy for a body in the family that loves it”
