You're not expected to know this. These questions help you compare and avoid surprises.
“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
This means they bill the insurance company directly. You don't pay thousands upfront and wait to be reimbursed.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
The FTC Funeral Rule protects you. Every funeral home must provide an itemized General Price List if you ask — in person or over the phone. You are never required to buy a package and can choose services individually. You also have the right to use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“The currents owner namely Jaiden when handling a complaint about the park got loud and could not handle criticism. This has been the worst owner to date the lawns are so overgrown that you can’t see the flowers on my parents graves. Many gopher holes are everywhere. Grave stones thrown down and discarded that the person means nothing to him. Several family members are buried there over 60 years we have been using this location. He takes pride in the statures he has decorating the cemetery. But not in the people who are buried there.”

“We are not happy to see the disrespect and lies that have been portrayed here. However I do want to Thank Juan for his due diligence. He placed our family headstone and has genuinely been trying to improve the area. He has the compassion to do what's right. If the owners were smart, they would do what it takes to keep him and learn from him. As for the cemetery, it saddens our families that the owners are not taking care of the whole cemetery. I guess I can truly say, This is the deadest cemetery I have ever seen.”

“When we put my father in law here several years ago it was under different management / owners and it was a nice place. We were there Sunday 7/21/19 and the place is absolutely disgusting. The grass is dead, sections are a foot tall covering the headstones, trees are dead. We told them a while back that a tree was dead & needed to be removed before it broke off and broke the headstones under it, some being civil war era soldier graves. They didn't care, said it cost too much, a branch broke a lady's headstone before the tree finally started falling from a storm and was removed. My husband took cement glue this time to fix a headstone from the 1800's that was broken at the base and just laying on the ground. The manager is horrible and I agree with the other comments that she should be fired. The drought is over, quit using that as an excuse to not water the place, look at the other cemeteries, they do not look like this. Look up PERPETUAL CARE, this is definitely not an example of that. My husband really wants to move his dad out of here, hopefully we can someday if it doesn't improve. Would give zero stars if it was possible. We'll post photos after our next visit.”
